Basically, it’s just easier than saying band, solo act, group, DJ, etc. every time we write something. We don’t mean to alienate anyone by this; it’s just that we’re operating under the assumption that most of the musicians that frequent this blog are members of bands. Please don’t let it bother you too much if you aren’t in a band, we still love you.
